FAQs

Your Questions, Answered

  • Full-service planning reflects the time, expertise, and leadership required to manage a wedding from vision through execution. Your investment covers months of planning, vendor sourcing and management, design direction, logistics, timeline creation, budget oversight, and full wedding-day execution — not just the day itself. You’re paying for experience, problem-solving, and a seamless process, not hourly tasks.

  • Planning is proactive and strategic; coordination is reactive and logistical. A planner is involved early, guiding decisions, building the team, shaping the design, and managing the process from start to finish. A coordinator typically steps in close to the wedding day to execute plans that have already been made. Full-service planning ensures nothing is left to chance.

  • Planning focuses on structure, logistics, and execution; design focuses on aesthetic, atmosphere, and guest experience. While the two work closely together, design requires its own creative process, sourcing, and styling expertise. Separating them allows for a higher level of intention, customization, and visual cohesion — rather than treating design as an afterthought.

  • Not necessarily — but couples who want a highly curated, cohesive look typically do. Full-service planning ensures everything runs smoothly; design & décor ensures it looks and feels exceptional. Many clients choose to bundle both for a seamless experience.

  • It begins with an inquiry and a consultation call to ensure we’re the right fit. From there, you’ll receive a custom proposal, contract, and retainer to officially reserve your date.

  • As involved as you’d like. Our role is to lead the process, present clear options, and manage the details — while keeping you informed and confident every step of the way. Most couples appreciate having guidance without feeling overwhelmed.

  • Full-Service Planning begins 12–16 months out and includes venue research and selection, full vendor sourcing and management, budget development, design integration, logistics, timeline creation, and wedding-day execution. This option is ideal for couples who want guidance from the very beginning and a planner leading every phase of the process.

Partial Planning begins approximately 6 months out and is available after a venue has already been booked. This service focuses on refining plans already in place, completing vendor bookings, managing logistics, and guiding the wedding through the final planning phase and execution.
