  • Do you offer full-service wedding planning?

    Not quite. Merrimac specializes in planning support, not full-service coordination. I help you stay organized, make smart decisions, and feel ready to hand things off confidently — whether to a month-of coordinator or trusted friend.

  • What’s included in the free consultation?

    Your complimentary consultation is a 20-minute call to talk through where you are, what’s ahead, and how Merrimac can support your planning process. No pressure — just clarity and support.

  • What happens after the consultation?

    After we chat, you’ll receive a summary email outlining the services that best fit your needs, plus a link to book your package if you’re ready to move forward.

  • What makes your Wedding Suite different?

    Automation and preset functions. A lot of digital tools out there are built with the same basic pages - budgets, guest lists, seating; but they don’t have the same smart design that Merrimac’s offers. Our planner takes the thinking out of planning, and guides you through the process without having to wonder if you are missing something.

  • Can I just use your planning spreadsheets without a consulting package?

    Absolutely! The Wedding Suite is available as a standalone purchase — no consulting required.

  • What if I’m not great with spreadsheets?

    No problem — the Wedding Suite is designed to be intuitive and beginner-friendly. Plus, a walkthrough video is included to guide you step by step through each tool.

  • What’s the difference between the Golden Hour and Aurora packages?

    Golden Hour is for couples who want hands-on, ongoing planning support with monthly check-ins and vendor research. Aurora is a lighter option — ideal if you want project management without as many calls or customizations.

  • What if I already have a coordinator?

    That’s great! I work with many couples who want help organizing their plans before handing things off. My services complement — not compete with — your coordinator. I will even have a call with your month of coordinator to hand off your plans when it is time for them to take over.

  • I bought the Aurora, can I upgrade later?

    Yes! If you start with Aurora and realize you’d benefit from more support, I’ll happily apply what you’ve paid toward the Golden Hour and/or Luxe add on.

  • How soon will I hear from you?

    I typically respond to messages within 24 hours (and within 12 for Luxe clients).

  • Do I need a Canva account to use your templates?

    Yes, but the free version of Canva works perfectly. You’ll get a link to access the templates with no design experience required.

  • Are the spreadsheets in Excel or Google Sheets?

    All downloads are formatted for Google Sheets, so they’re cloud-based, editable, and easy to share. You’ll just need a free Google account to use them.
